My Bloom Photo Shoot

It's my third pregnancy and hubby says possibly the last - so we decided to do a photoshoot to remember this last pregnancy. The 3rd pregnancy is not run in the mill for me because it came as a surprise (more details in another blog post).

For now, this is the photo shoot done at The Studio Loft. They shifted from Chinatown to their temp location at Joo Chiat and this shoot is taken at their permanent new location - Oxley Bizhub... The place is in Ubi, nice quiet place and very new with little tenants. Luckily we had a little guidance from Joanne, we were still kinda lost because the Security decided to close off the main entrance to the Basement Parking that we were suppose to go to. Nevertheless, you can still get to the basement parking by heading to the second building on the left - turn right into the one way, go straight all the way and turn right - you will see the basement entrance on the right. As for Lobby B which brings us directly to the studio, park at the areas where the car park pillars are painted with two red-orange-y strips.

It was a really fun photo shoot and I enjoyed myself very much. Thanks to Maryann for the wonderful and beautiful photos! :) I did take some tummy pictures using semi-transparent fabric for personal collection (yup so they won't be posted anywhere on the internet) - not that I have a to die for nice looking thighs or super big and nice looking tummy to boot (keke...).

The only photo where M was "forced" with her cheeks on my chest... LOL!
Who's the serious one in the family?

And suddenly, she shows a small ray of sunshine...

Like this photo! :)

*muacks* for being so glum the whole photoshoot...

This is actually the last of the series but the cutest
as N got to play with the face paint left over from M's birthday party...
Dipping her fingers into the paint...

The artist in action!
Bingo! That's the correct spelling for "BOY". There was no need to erase and re-spell the word. :p

The happy N with her "work of art"!
This is a photo that says "See I spell the word "BOY" correctly hor!"

Brought along a pair of boy socks as props... (this hubby uh... tsk tsk! where is the ring??!!!
Sidenote: Hubby then reminds me, EH HELLO! My ring is on the left hand LAH! *Opppssss*)
Love this picture although M is not smiling...
(Seriously, not easy to capture a toddler who is not co-operative!)

Didn't post the series of photos where hubby was staring "murderously" at me
in a bid to make his double eye lids appear... They are quite hilarious looking actually...
What more can I say? *Loves*
Uh huh... This is one of those not-so-"murderous" look photos...
In desperation to get M into the picture...
(Tip: Place her favourite food on my belly button, in picture her in action
picking up the rice crisp cracker)
M just cannot stop munching!

I do not know why M has that expression...

With food in her hands again!
Love this picture of myself... So ending this post with this photo!
(buay tahan myself sometimes...)

Bloom and Teeny Weeny Photo Shoot (Overdue post)

After getting pregnant a second time, I wasted no time in telling hubby that I wanted to have a maternity photo shoot. The photo shoot would entail some artistic bare it all shots. Hubby was of course apprehensive at first until I told him that I will try to choose a studio with a female photographer. What I wanted to do was to capture the rare moments of a stretched tummy with a baby inside and of course while my skin is still smooth...

I shortlisted a few photo studios which were known to take really nice maternity photos and studios or free lancers who have just joined this lucrative business. As I was looking around, the Parenthood Fair came along and one of my top choice studio actually had a promo! As luck would have it, I only needed to pay $500 for maternity and newborn photo shoot! I slept over it for a week (since it was announced on the studio's facebook page) and decided to just go ahead with it. The studio had at that time also published their new rates card and the package was really a "not to be missed!". Got my sister to go down to the fair with me just so I can book the package and appointments. Hubby was overseas then and it was quite a feat trying to book an appointment that would fit his schedule.

My studio of choice was (drum rollssss.....) The Studio Loft! I have always admired the photos on their Facebook page after knowing about them through my colleague who took family photos with them. There was just something that struck a cord with me - what I can't really tell. All I can say is I really love the photos. :p

The maternity photo shoot was enjoyable. I wanted to be a little more adventurous but I guess I got conscious because my older daughter was with me. I didn't want her to have the impression that it is perfectly ok to take photos without clothes (not that the poses were raunchy or that she will understand that I was taking it to remember the big tummy).

The newborn photo shoot on the other hand was quite difficult. Baby M fussed for quite a bit and was not really co-operative - wanting to latch and latch and latch... It was really stressful and I really hated the first half of the photo shoot. My worry was that none of the photos were going to turn out right. That said Maryann was really calm and cool in handling babies (being a mother herself) and managed to take many pretty shots (yes I wanted to buy all but hubby the disciplined one said no. *bleah*). And there was Joanne who was there to lighten the mood and keep N in a perky mood for the sisters' portion. :)

It was a great experience and I would surely go back for another one if I were to get pregnant again.
It's time for the reveal (do not worry... no NC16 or M18 photos will be posted here)...
The Bloom Shoot

This is my favourite! N looking so sweet isn't it?
The Teeny Weeny Shoot

Pardon me... But hubby wanted this finger sucking photo... :p

Aren't tiny feet cute?
The sleeping child...
That sweet smile

The sisters!!!
Love how the two of them look in this photo...
Angels...

 Papa Mama & Baby M

Just the girls and I...
Realised that this looks so much like the photo of me and the girls! *faint*

An update on the Baby U Photo Shoot!

Finally laid my hands on the CD of photos from Baby U Studio (http://www.babyu.com.sg/). There were a total of 50+ photos above the photos which I had selected for developing... Anyway, I picked out a few more here for u to enjoy! :)
